2008.07.29 (Tue) - 4 wheels to work today, took the camera with me in hopes of catching the monster spider and web outside my office window but the landscapers came through and took him out again. He's started rebuilding again so maybe later this week. Work was work, took off after 8 hrs, Robin and I timed our arrival home pretty well.

We took off with the kids to Hollywood to rent a movie, then went to check and see if the beaver tree is still standing. It was. We were earlier than usual so the lighting was better and we got lucky with an early sighting. I had the 2x extender on the camera when i grabbed this shot. I lost my balance walking a fallen log and had to step into the pond to avoid falling into the water with the camera. The water is very mucky and my shoes are no longer white. I need to get a pair of waders.
