2008.06.16 (Mon) - What a nice day, Robin and I began the day with a 20 mile bike ride along the American River. We started at Hazel Avenue just below Nimbus Dam and rode 10 miles out to just past River Bend Park where we stopped and ate our packed brunch. After shooting some photos we rode back to the car, then drove to FedEx to pick up the Fisheye lens that I rented for our week off work!
After a nap, dinner, and a quick meeting with some friends, Robin and I grabbed Brandon and Brianna and we all took off with the camera gear to play around in Old Sacramento. We stopped for ice cream but the shop was closed so we walked across the street to the Chocolate Factory and grabbed some sweets! After that we walked over to the river where I grabbed this shot of the Delta King. We stayed out a bit late, check out some more of the photos we took while out tonight.
