2008.06.08 (Sun) - Being a parent can be rough sometimes, you care so much for your children and want the best for them. You do your best to teach them, to mold them, to prepare them for the world. Even the best parents make mistakes, I certainly have. As our children approach adulthood, it becomes difficult to let go but eventually every parent must. When that time comes, the only thing to do is to trust God, that he loves them even more than you do and that he has the best plans for them.

We had a great day today, we celebrated my mother's birthday and we got to go see Jen and her band perform in the park. Here is a photo of her doing what she loves the most, praising our Lord with all her heart and soul. What more could I ask for? I love you Jennifer, more than you know. I am so very proud of you. Thank you for being my daughter, thank you for your love of God and Family. Your mother and I love and miss you!
