RandD > 2008.05.29 (Thu) - After work today we had Peyton. We decided to run over to my parents to see if we could get Peyton to show for them but Peyton wasn't in the mood to walk. Kayla showed up shortly after we arrived and we all had a nice visit. When we left my parents, Kayla took Peyton while Robin and I took off looking for the daily photo. We walked around a small office complex near our home where I grabbed this shot. After the DP, we ran to Yog-Yog for yogurt and then back home to relax and wind down. I hope you all had a nice day, you gotta love the 4 day work week! See you tommorrow, Darron
RandD > 2008.05.28 (Wed) - I had a nice day today. The ride into work was a bit cool and windy with a head wind the whole way. My work day was productive, the ride home was nice, I had a tail wind all the way! I left work late and so arrived home later than usual. I helped Robin set up for a nice dinner out back, she had cooked a wonderful meal, before eating I silently gave thanks for some answered prayers. (The point has become clearer) I ran off after for a couple hours after dinner and returned feeling a bit blue. Then I learned that Peyton had taken her first steps while they were out car shopping. We got Robin out of bed and all cheered Peyton on while she showed off her new skill. What a nice end to my day. After all the excitement, Kayla was putting Peyton down for the night and I grabbed this shot of one of the Magic Shoes! God bless you until tomorrow, Darron
RandD > 2008.05.27 (Tue) - Robin and I got home about the same time and it was such a nice day that we took off after dinner for a walk on the Miners Ravine Bike Trail. The creeks were running high with all the recent rain and there were many different birds out. We saw wild turkeys, baby ducks, geese and many other smaller birds feeding on insects as the sun began to set. I shot a few good photos, Robin liked this one the best. See you tomorrow, Darron
RandD > 2008.05.26 (Mon) - It was a beautiful Memorial Day. Robin was at work and the kids took off to see a movie. I had Peyton so we ran out to a nearby Memorial Day ceremony and grabbed this photo. Until tomorrow, Darron
RandD > 2008.05.25 (Sun) - It was a good day, I started on a 60 mile bike ride to Old Sac but didn't make it all the way home because I forgot my lunch and my wallet. I called Robin and they were slow there so she was able to leave early. She picked me up at mile 49, whew, thanks sweetie for the rescue. After we got home we relaxed by watching a movie (Cloverfield) with Kayla. Then we grabbed Peyton and we all went out for yogurt. Finally, Robin and I took off with the camera and drove though old Roseville where I grabbed this shot. See you tomorrow, Darron
RandD > 2008.05.24 (Sat) - It was a busy day, in a good way. My parents arrived back from Australia and we got to visit with them before running off to a very important event. Today my niece Crystal graduated from Sacramento State University with a degree in Child Development. She also just recently announced her engagement and we are so very happy for her and glad to have George and his family as new members of ours. Mom & Dad, we are glad to have you back. Crystal, we are very proud of you and we love you! Until tomorrow, Darron
RandD > 2008.05.23 (Fri) - Okay, I shot this after I got home from work and I know that it is not the best photograph. It is out of focus and the ISO was set too high so it is too grainy but I love it. I hope this isn't one of those photos that only the Grandparents can appreciate. :) I'll have more time to devote to tomorrows DP. Until tomorrow, Darron
RandD > 2008.05.22 (Thu) - Some days you just have to wonder... What's the point? Well, it's never as bad as we first make it out to be. Oh well, tomorrow is Friday and then a three day weekend, we'll see how things work out with the news we got today. Maybe I'll share more about it later. See you all tomorrow, Darron
RandD > 2008.05.21 (Wed) - What a day. I got a flat on my way to work today and my spare had a hole! I patched the spare and got to work okay but after work, the patch gave way. Luckly for me, Robin was off work so she came out and rescued me. On the way home we stopped at Performance Bikes and bought a new tire and some new tubes to get my bike back on the road. After that we ran home for dinner, dropped B & B off at youth and took off looking for a photo for today. It was nice out but very windy. We ended up walking around a business park and shooting some buildings. While we were there I shot this photo of our reflection in one of the windows. It was nice hanging out together.
