RandD > 2009.03.04 (Wed) - Lincoln Heritage

Good day at work, made some calls during the lunch hour to arrange for a boat rental for Saturday morning photo plans with Robin on our anniversary. Finally found a place that will rent to us, should hear for sure by tomorrow.

Got home and grabbed Robin and then went over to Bill Smith Photography to pick up senior portraits for Jen and Brandon. They didn't have the CD's we ordered so we'll have to go back later to get those.

After picking up the framed prints we headed out to Lincoln for dinner and desert. After desert we walked up and down the main strip with the camera and tripod. I liked this shot of the Lincoln Heritage Theater best.

Hope you all had a good day, until tomorrow...

RandD > 2009.03.03 (Tue) - Stained Glass Evening

Nice day, got in to work early and had a productive morning. Planned on doing lunch with Bobby but Mark emailed to say he was going to stop by and have a lunch meeting with Mike and I so had to bail on our lunch plans.

Lunch with Mark and Mike was good, just had some updates to share with us over lunch. Back to work, the second half of the day went okay, wrapped up one set of module specifications before taking off for home. Stopped at Action camera and exchanged the tripod head up for the Manfroto 322RC2. Okay, I am really in trouble when Robin reads this tomorrow.

Got home to find Brandon and Richard battling forces of evil on X-box. I grabbed a quick bite to eat and took off in the rain looking for a photo. I stopped a few places in town but grabbed this shot on my way home. This is a Presbyterian Church right around the corner from our place, I love their stained glass.

Robin is just getting up now, so I'm going to run! Until tomorrow,

RandD > 2009.03.02 (Mon) - Magical Roseville

Had a good day, went in a bit later than usual, going to start working later shifts while Rob is out enjoying time with Livia, his new daughter. Ate lunch at my desk, had a late meeting and took off about 6PM. The drive home was great, hardly any traffic at all. Got home and had Dinner with Robin and then we took off in search of a photo.

Ended up on Vernon Street in Old Roseville. Walked from the old Tower Theater to the old Roseville Theater where I grabbed this shot.

Hope you all had a wonderful day, until tomorrow...

RandD > 2009.03.01 (Sun) - Started our day at church, service was good. After church Robin and I stopped off for breakfast and then went to the Auto parts store to pick up a Battery for Jens car and some tail-lights for mine. After that we did some shopping for dinner and returned home. I worked on the cars in the rain, Robin cleaned. Got word that Rob and his wife had their baby, looking forward to hearing more...

It rained all day and I didn't take a photo so I am posting one from the other morning in Fair Oaks. Hope you all had a nice weekend.

Until tomorrow,

Darron
RandD > 2009.02.28 (Sat) - Got up early today, Robin and I drove around looking for a photo. We bounced from Granite Bay to Auburn, Penryn, Lincoln, and then back to Roseville. We didn't take any photos but had a nice morning together. We went shopping at Home Depot and then came home and did some cleaning and yardwork. After an afternoon nap we got up and watched some TV before heading out with Brandon to have dinner with Kayla, Chris, and Peyton.

Still no photo and dinner is about ready so I decided to post a photo from my Thursday trip out here.

Hope you all had a wonderful day,

Darron
RandD > 2009.02.27 (Fri) - Fair Oaks Blossoms

Up early, made a stop on my way to work to grab this shot. Work went well, was in meetings all morning, went to lunch with the dev team and Jason. I picked up the tab, returned to finish the day. Was having a wonderful day until I came home and decided to attempt to post my daily photo from Brandon's MacBook!

Man, whoever says Mac's are easier to use is crackin smoke! 1.75 hours of pure frustration, I finally gave up, went to my beautiful Microsoft Vista Operating system and was able to pick a photo, make a few quick edits, and upload in no-time. (5 mins tops)

I am proud to say that I AM a PC! Microsoft ROCKS! I love all the MAC's in my family but they can keep their OS! I'll put Vista up against Leopard any day, and TWICE on Fridays! :)

Until tomorrow,

Darron
RandD > 2009.02.26 (Thu) - Peyton tends to the new Tulips

Up early, saw Brandon off this morning and then headed to work. Work went well, took off for lunch with Bobby at Sunny Lees... Returned to finish the day and then took off straight for Kayla's. It is a new Thursday tradition for me to drive up and get my hugs and kisses since R & B are out late on Thursdays.

Grabbed this shot of Peyton tending to the new Tulips that Chris planted to cheer up Kayla. Now for dinner with my girls.

Until tomorrow,

RandD > 2009.02.25 (Wed) - Lunch Break

Got in to work early, had a good day. Heard briefly from an good friend, took off for lunch and grabbed some Mexican food on my way to the old "Fair Oaks Bridge" to see if I could grab my daily photo.

I grabbed several shots, this was the best of the group. Wrappted up my day on time, headed home to hang out with my sweetie.

Hope you all had a good day, until tomorrow...

RandD > 2009.02.24 (Tue) - Had a good day at work, got in early and was productive. Robin sleeps until 8:30PM on Tuesdays so after work I stopped at Action Camera and grabbed a new head for our tripod and then headed west in search of something to shoot. (I am going to be in trouble when Robin reads this tomorrow!)

The sunset was not as colorful as I had hoped but I liked this shot of the sun setting behind the high tension lines just west of Roseville.

Got a call from Pat, he finished the repairs on our Cuckoo clock and wanted to bring it by. I stopped by the bank on the way home to pull out enough cash to cover the repairs. We met back at my place, we talked a bit about "The Shack", watched William P Young speak a bit on video, then talked a bit about God. It was very nice.

I love my Papa as best I know how, I know he is with me, that he is still working on me. I do believe that he is especially fond of me as he is of all his children. Thank you Papa, help me grow in my relationship with you!

May Papa bless you all.

Until tomorrow,
